What are Spiritual Readings?

I am often asked what is a “Spiritual” reading, vs a regular reading. A Spiritual reading is based on the idea that we are ALL God’s Beloved’s and we sometimes need help in deciphering the internal messages that we receive. The person doing the reading strives to connect the personal path of your life with your divine purpose.

My readings are based on “Spirit”. What I mean by “Spirit” is, the energy that beats our hearts, the energy that we were created with;( the stuff God used to make us), the Energy that fuels our bodies, the energy that defines us. But what is Energy?

“Concerning MATTER, we have been all WRONG. What we have called matter is ENERGY, whose vibration has been so LOWERED as to be perceptible to the senses. There is NO matter.”
~ Albert Einstein ~

The Human Energy Field appears to exist in more that three dimensions. It  is a luminous body that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body, emitting it’s own characteristic radiation which is usually called the “Aura”.

The Human Aura is that part of the Universal Energy Field associated with the human body. The state of “Ki” in your system relates to the body-mind harmony or disharmony you experience in your life. It’s the same energy that is inherent in you and I and it energizes us and our movements. This energy lives on after our physical body no longer lives and this energy individualizes us.

We all emit this energy, and when you are sensitive to this energy, you “feel” others by their energy fields and can relate to what you are feeling through your emotions. This is how a reading is done; we are “Reading your energy field” through our intuition.  Where thought goes, energy flows. Every thought you think creates an impression that lodges itself in your energy field. These are “read” to determine your state of mind and to expand your awareness of your “power” in the situation. (Some readers will offer to “remove” situations or change what is going on in your life, for a fee. RUN, don’t walk from them as you are the master of your own ship.)

All Beings are created equal and as a birth right, we are given the power of choice; called Free Will. No one can live your life for you or make any decisions about your life for you. If they are honorable, they will not try.

There is nothing fearful in a spiritual reading, no hocus pokus or magic is used, nothing out of the ordinary occurs. It is like sitting down and having a discussion with an old and trusted friend about the major concerns of your life, how these same concerns came to be and the options available to you to bring more joy into your life! This conversation is a little lop-sided in my readings because I ask that the recipient of the reading to refrain from commenting until I finish speaking. The reason for this, is that the recipient needs to view their life from a different more loving  perspective. It’s like thinking outside of the box. When you change your perspective, you most often change the outcome of the situation to a more balanced and loving outcome.

So in conclusion, A reading is like sitting down for a chat with a friend. It is learning tool, on your spiritual path.
